Key Role Tasks
- Monitor and administer applications, ICT infrastructure and networks to maximize uptime
- Windows/Linux Server administration and troubleshooting issues
- Exchange Server administration and maintenance
- Maintain Active Directory user authentication and authorization
- Maintain the Service Desk and ensure issues are resolved in a timely, professional manner
- Installation and support of laptops and PCs and implementation of network upgrades
- Advice on security issues within the network and implement practical solutions
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications (diploma or degree level) preferred, vendor certifications highly regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in and maintaining a Hyper-V/VMware virtualized environment
- Good understanding of Layer 2/3 networking and the ability to maintain and upgrade a variety of networking equipment
- Familiarity with Active Directory/Group Policy and experience in deploying policies to endpoints
