Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:• Previous experience designing fibre networks (NBN DCMA Project)
• Strong working knowledge of GIS Systems such as SpatialNet and MapInfo, AutoCAD/BricsCAD, and Telstra GDD
• Capability of working autonomously
• Provide solutions to more complex technical problems (HFC, FTTx)
• High level of Technical understanding of the Australian HFC and FTTX networks.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent technical ability.
• Time Management.
What qualities are we looking for?• 1-5 years of experience in planning and designing multi-technology transmission networks Design (MW, Fibre, and HFC)
• Excellent technical knowledge of Transmission Network Design Standards
• Good understanding of aerial, underground, and intra-building designs principles
• Knowledge of GIS-related platforms, systems, and tools such as Mapinfo and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of MS Suite.
• A high level of personal presentation and communication is absolutely crucial
