The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing the Network and Voice technologies and IT Infrastructure landscape, as well as providing technical expertise and project work within the IT Technical services team.  
Key responsibilities:
  • Plan, administer and maintain all computer network functions
  • Manage cabling and wiring connectivity and documentation for LAN/WAN topologies, network inventory and maintenance
  • Configure, install and upgrade network hardware and software
  • Managing and administering infrastructure servers and backup systems for optimal uptime, security, availability, and integrity
  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and control of the telephone systems
  • Maintain security for the network operations, coordinating the vulnerability evaluation and remediation of internal and external network resources
  • Roll out, maintain and secure wireless connectivity for the James Hardie network
  • Assist with acquisitions and coordinate installation of new network hardware and software systems
  • Acting as a safety leader at all times

About you
  • Cisco CCNP certified or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with technical and engineering personnel
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experiences in administering large Cisco network environments
  • Working knowledge of RIPv2, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, PIM, VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, Layer2/3 Ether Channel, Gigabit LANs, HSRP, LACP
  • Working knowledge of the software control systems for networks such as Statseeker, NetFlow Analyzer or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze LAN and WAN network problems, and phone system errors
